Caring Corner – May 2020

A Message We All Need Now

This Just Says It All

Thanks to the kind people at Card My Yard Penfield, NY, this sign was placed on our grounds for a weekend for all to enjoy and to remember that you are loved – both residents and staff!!

The Latest In Local Art!!!

You’ve heard of artists creating with oil paints, or watercolors, or acrylic…but…Post-it notes?

Oh, yeah!  Our staff has been having all sorts of fun, getting creative with holiday and Spring-themed window art to brighten up our residents’ days and lives.  Drive by our building sometime to see for yourself!

It doesn’t get any sweeter than this!

What showed up on our doorstep recently, to make everyone’s day even better?

The FBH Foundation Board sent multiple boxes of cookies to our staff recently, baked by Shelly’s Sweets of Irondequoit (temporarily closed, but accepting special orders, like this one), in thanks for their hard work and terrific, positive attitude in the face of trying times.  We sincerely appreciate the kind gesture!

And the Kindness Goes On!

The Brooks Hill Elementary school staff sent over pizza to FBH staff members recently, with a kind note of thanks “for all you do to keep our elders safe.”  We are deeply touched by the kindness of so many in our community!
