FBHCM is all about home and family. It is important to us to be connected with our community and to create new communities, to relate to nature, to stay in touch with different generations, to celebrate life, to share our wisdom and gifts, to discover new roles, to care about each other, to become friends, and to pass on our personal and our shared history. This is the “spirit” of FBHCM. You may not be able to touch it, but you will know when it has touched you.
We are proud that for more than 100 years, FBHCM and its historical predecessors have provided exceptional care to the elders through the generations. We began as a “retirement home,” providing comfort and care to the elderly in a residential setting. Today, we deliver services in a multitude of settings, including congregate settings, homes, and community venues.
Our comprehensive services include independent living, community care management, elder transportation, three different forms of assisted living, adult day health care, rehabilitative services, dementia care, and resident-directed skilled nursing. A crucial component of our concept is child care that makes all of our care settings intergenerational.
