An English/Communications major at a Jesuit school, where service to others above self was emphasized, with the experience of four years of volunteer work under her belt, Jessica decided she wanted to stay in the non-profit arena— and fundraising seemed to be a good fit. It enables her to help people make the community a better place and meet many generous and caring people, all while improving a vital organization like Fairport Baptist Homes.
She loves the opportunity to hear seniors’ wonderful life stories and seeing how her work impacts entire families. With 17 years of fundraising experience, she enjoys work at Fairport Baptist Homes because of its rich history and excellent reputation in the community. Outside of work, she has a goal to hike all 46 Adirondack High Peaks, so she spends as much time with her family there as possible— for her, it’s the best place to unplug and connect with nature.
