FBH Caring Ministries Foundation
The Fairport Baptist Homes Caring Ministries Foundation serves as the central fundraising entity for FBHCM, maintaining resources needed for future growth and stability.
All gifts are funneled through the Foundation, established in 1998, and are used in a fiscally responsible manner to meet the changing needs of our senior population. These ongoing needs can be met only by a partnership with philanthropic people in our community who care about the welfare of the elderly.
The Foundation’s Mission:
All persons have the right to individualized, nurturing care at home or in a nurturing home-like setting that ensures their well-being, safety, independence, and dignity. Yet programs and services that offer that high level of care require substantial public and private financial support. For the purpose of ensuring that support, the Fairport Baptist Homes Caring Ministries Foundation encourages public awareness and philanthropic giving on behalf of FBH Caring Ministries, Inc. and its subsidiaries. The Foundation raises, invests, and stewards donations, to sustain and to enhance the programs and services offered by Fairport Baptist Homes Caring Ministries.

Philanthropic contributions help offset the shortfall between government and insurance reimbursements to Fairport Baptist Homes and the actual cost of care. Public funding for health care continues to decline annually, in spite of escalating expenditures. Yet Fairport Baptist Homes remains committed to serving the underserved in our community, subsidizing the cost of their care if necessary, in part through charitable contributions.
